Had to photograph my rental that the people just moved out of. This lens locks accurately no matter the lighting. It just keeps impressing me over and over. My workhorse.
I really like how the Tamron VC "grabs" and locks the image. Some reviewers don't like that effect but I think it's very impressive.
I am thinking to buy a d800 for events\weddings...would be this tamron a good choice? I like the vc..maybe should i go with nikon 24-70 2.8 ? Anyone has any issues...any focus problems? If not what other lenses do you recomed? Thanks !

You probably have a lot of photo ops with those two!
Hello Guys!
I just ordered my Tamron 24-70mm f2.8 with a B+W polar filter from Amazon.de and an additional Nikon D610 from HDew. I obtained a D7000 (it was backfocusing like hell) for a week and a D600 for 1 day (it was sooo dirty) and now I have a Sony nex3 with kit lensI am looking forward to seeing the 4-5 stops better low light shooting
I do not like to expect too much, but I think this lens + body combination will offer an immense increase in low light shooting and picture quality over my current MILC.
Btw.! Happy New Year and I wish steady hands or enough light for you guys!
When you mentioned polar filter are you talking about circular polarizer filter for indoor low light?
Congrats on your new set up btw.

Hello!
No, the polar filter decreases the light that your sensor can picks up. The polar filter will be very useful for outdoor shoot.
