I had to go back to it and try to figure out WHY I liked it. I think it is a combination of the out of focus background and the fact that is forms an X. I think that is why it grabs the eye.
It is really not enough to just like something, we have to know why. I think that is the way we grow and learn.
Why do you like it better?
The first one is my favorite, too. I especially like how the glistening sun in the background creates the circular spots...unless they are out-of-focus white lights. Whatever created them, I really like how it adds to the background.
I'll be honest and say I had to click on the photo to get a better view of the image. When I first looked at it, I wasn't sure if the lower left branch was a small scarecrow making the
touch-down sign! The two tips of the branches look very much like small hands with fingers!
