Awesome! Congrats on the new Nikon! :D

Well I was going to wait another month or two to get the D7000 or D7100 but I found a D7100 w 16-85mm lens in open box for a good price so I decided to get it. I like the D5100 but I just like the feel of the slightly larger camera better and have full control at my fingertips...

I just bought a used Domke Armadillo camera backpack for $110 and I can hardly wait till it gets here! It'll be awesome to have a place to put my lenses and Nikon's that are sitting on top of dressers and anywhere I can find that seemed safe! Lol :D

Just got my new Dell 660. Now on the hunt for a better monitor!

The laptop has been on the fritz lately. So I am wiping it and starting over there.

Now I just have two things on my wish list before I should be ''done'' for awhile.
1) Tamron 70-200mm VC USD/f2.8
2) upgrade flash to SB 700 or similar

For Bud it ain't bad. Me, I'm more a New Castle guy

I like New Castle as well. I usually just drank Yuengling until my doctor asked me to loose a few pounds. I found this and like it. Before that I wouldn't touch Bud. And the vodka, well, that's a treat once in awhile!

I picked up a couple lenses from the Post Office today. a Sigma 17-50/2.8 and a Tamron 18-270 PZD. The Sigma was new, and the Tamron I got second hand in like new condition for supercheap. I know it isn't a great lens but for the purpose it serves it will be good enough for me, especially for a fraction of the cost of a Nikon 18-200mm.

My Domke Amadillo backpack arrived today! It seems to have a ton of room, but I bought it used so I'm busy puzzling out the dividers and how to get it setup to fit my camera and lens needs! Lol With no papers showing the options, it can get a bit confusing! Lol :D
