You may have to fine tune the auto focus in camera or with the sigma dock.
I remember reading of this issue specifically with the D800. Do a search, I think you will find a lot of info, I'm not sure if the dock was able to help or it was just the paring of the two.
Thank you very much Rick. Will definitely look into it further. Worse case scenario, gotta travel all the way to Sigma and have it calibrated to my d800.
The sharpness wide open. No complaints. There will be vignetting. However, one won't regret getting it. And the focus is 100% accurate when I'm using the center focus. The inaccurate focusing happens only when I'm using the right portion of the focus points
So sharp...What light source is coming from camera left?
Not a bad shot but the glasses frames going through the middle of her eyes is a portrait faux pas.
So no issues with the Sigma? I keep hearing about these issues with 3rd party lens on Nikons...
