Well today I just bought a new Tamron 18-270mm/3.5-6.3 for my D7100. Its the first lens which isn't a Nikkor, for me.
Hope to get to use it tomorrow.I went to camera store to buy the Nikkor 18- 140, so I will see if I'll be happy with the Tamron over the Nikkor lens.

Congrats on the new buys! I have a hand wrist version on the strap you got, and it can work well. But I didn't like having to constantly hold my Nikon so bought a should strap. I wish you luck on the battery pack. I bought a few of them and sometimes my Nikon doesn't like them, unless I put a Nikon brand pack in the battery grip with one of the others.

Anyway congrats and I hope they all work awesome for you! :D

I just purchased the Nikon D5200 and ordered the wireless adapter after viewing several YouTube reviews. I know the app has limitations, but for $50 it seemed like a fun option to test. I'll let you know how it preforms as soon as it arrives.

Thank you! I have the 7100 ... I have an EyeFi card but it also has limitations. For the price, I was thinking of trying it for studio/special projects where I want to Chimp but would then be able to see a tablet sized image to know if I got the shot... I would be interested in your assessment after you get it...

Well I pick up two Samsung galaxy note 3 smart phones for my wife and I today, on Verizon's new program so I didn't have to pay several hundred dollars up front. I already had a Samsung galaxy note 2 so I knew I'd like the new note 3. :)
But my wife isn't so sure she likes hers yet, since she has no experience with droid smart phones and it's all new to her, so I'm hoping she will like it more once she gets use to it. My fingers are crossed! Lol :D

Just bought one of these, as I've taken on the job of designing a website for the nursing home my Mom is in, and I need to take a load of photo's of the rooms and staff, and keep the blog up to date, there Christmas party is on this Sunday, and I've been asked to take photo's of the party, so I needed a decent flash gun.
