Here in Thailand is 08.43 a.m. now and I was wondering my friend Pat is posting something or not. And what get I to look at"? Yes, I get a look at such great nature photos that makes my morning coffee more joy-able.

Thanks Pat.

Excellent shots all of them but I feel this is too bottom heavy :) but again could be me. I would crop some of the bottom and the blown out highlights on the right.

Scott, thank you... I appreciate the feedback comments. I went back and looked at additional cropping options. I intentionally had the bottom heavy as I was trying to show the reflections... (my original was too close to the crop so there was not much room to shift.)

The right is actually not blown out highlights but rather quite detailed (on a full rez zoom). It is barren trees on a grey day so nearly zero color... It is distracting, I agree and I can crop that out... thank you!! :)

Hi Again.... I played around a bit with the cropping... I was too tight on the original shot to allow much shift in crop latitude (bottom heavy) if I want the full reflection, which I do. The picture lost it for me if I cropped part of the reflection out.. here is the original crop and a 2nd try, reducing some of the bottom and adjusting the picture aspect ratio some by cropping off the right side only...

Overall, I think it is improved Scott... right distraction is gone and while I maintained my reflection, bottom is less than top and lake line is not as centered.

Thanks Scott... I think you helped it... and yes, I tweaked the color a bit too! :)

Day 296 - October 23nd, 2013

It was a weak day, photo wise... I only took 2 shots. We had a customer in from Switzerland and I never got outside for a break as I was in and out of meetings all day... dark when I went in, dark when I came out... meetings were good :)

Anyhow, here is the two I took upon arriving at work...

An insert that we mold over.....

HaHa! Love the pumpkin prop!!

Thank you Barb! They had little pumpkins all over! I spotted one, thought it would make a nice shot, went and got my camera and when I came back I spotted this one which was a better shot. I may look to see if there is another shot in that department today! :)
