This one is a little odd, even for me! This is the spire at the top of the Methodist Church in New Bern.

As some of you may have noticed, I kinda like flowers. And sometimes I will ascribe human emotions and thoughts to them.
On this one, I purposely chose a flower that was slightly damaged and aged. I wanted everyone to put themselves in the flowers place.
Past beauty can also serve a purpose.

Ok, so I feel like an old damaged flower,... But I'm beautiful inside:)

Guess the perrenials have all the luck!

I love all the flower pics Pete, but if you start reading romance novels it's gonna be time for some kind of intervention:)
