At least I didn't break the camera by throwing it in the air .

I call this one the AnitLilly.
Actually, this was a surprise. I was sitting here, bored, at work (shhhh!! don't tell my boss). The garden club plants flowers on a hillside out front every year. I went out about 6:30 as the sun was starting to come up. I took a few shots and then came in a started playing with elements. This happened quite by accident. I started to Undo it and then thought of the Abstract challenge. I think it qualifies.

Thanks for all the nice comments! LOL The waiting is not deliberate. I went through college that way when I had to write papers. It just takes me all week to think of something and work it out. I'm kind of slow :)

All I gotta say is I am so glad I am not judging this one. There are just way too many fantastic shots . . . what a great imagination this bunch has!

LIke I said earlier... Spectacular Helene. Would you mind sharing with us (well me.. LOL) how you did that one? I like the way the flower kind of slips away in the picture. I'm thinking open the shutter and then crank the zoom.

Exactly, Mike! Had the flower pot on the window sill so that the blooms would pick up a little bit of sunlight. First tried with the 35-70 and wasn't happy. So I went to the 70-300 --this one was zoomed from 100 to 300. Thanks for the comment.
