Here's is another angle of the spider I shot a little while back.

Thanks Bill16, I'll try using the extension tube or the teleconverter for my next shot.

I would strongly recommend an extension tube over a TC. The extention tube will not degrade IQ or flatness of field nor will it add addtional lens elements with the added flare and loss of sharpness.

The extension tube is what you'd use. The teleconverter is for increasing magnification of far away scenes. The extension tube brings close up objects closer.
