Joe, Jen and Marcel, thank you so much for your very nice comments!

Wind has been blowing dust for two days so I'm still playing with my flash and flowers . . . inside!

I really like the effect in the back of the flower, but the petals themselves look a little flat to my eye. I wonder if you couldn't just popup the contrast just for the center of the flower to give it a little more depth.
Was this done with multiple flashes or PP?

This was done with just one off-camera flash. Because I was trying something new (DELIBERATELY moving the camera during capture lol), I kept it simple, knowing that I was going to lose some depth. Did very little in PP. . . hindsight, the flash should have been a little more to the side. Thanks for the comments, Marcel! I may experiment again tonight with this setup (since the wind is blowing AGAIN). . . sigh . . . I'm really not complaining.

I like the composition and the PP. Nice of you tho have brought the green plant into the shot just at the right spot.

I thought about you when I did this shoot yesterday . . . not easy to go into someone's house and ask them to re-arrange their furniture so you can get a good shot. You just have to work around it (like the pianos in your shot) and incorporate what's there into the shot. Thanks for your comments, Marcel.

Very nice Helene! great composition. The only thing i would suggest is losing the vignette. If she was more centered, it would work, but her head is in the upper left, hitting that vignetted corner....just a thought.
