Ferrari - First Focus Stacking Attempt
So! Tried Focus stacking for the first time.
This is a metallic logo on a hand bag my wife ordered.
It's about the size of a CF card
I just got one attempt cos she didn't like the bag & sent it back
This is a 9 image set, shot using the 105mm & 2 extension tubes on a rail.
SB700 placed off camera (though the flash settings were unchanged during the full shoot, there was some variation in lighting which i noticed in PP.. no idea why)

Flower - Focus Stacking Second Attempt
Tried this out.
Similar setup as above, except this flower was very very small.
Around 2mm in size.

What were the focus points? I am going to give stacking a go once I find a program to do it.

The flower was very small Deez..
Just about the size of a shirt button..
So just 2 focus points.. one on the flower & the other half a rotation further down on to the petals..
CS6 is alright.. you may also want to check out Helicon Focus.. quite a decent program
