Nice work. I love the first image especially, as well as the thorns. It looks like you're enjoying your 105 as much as I am mine. I never thought I'd be that into macro photography, but I'm a convert. I absolutely despise flies, but now I shoot them instead of swat them ... unless they're in the house, of course. LOL

Super High Magnification

Ok this is something i just tried just now...
Was sitting on my comp & this bug was happily crawling in front of me...
So quickly jumped up & made him get on a piece of paper, attached 3 extension tubes, on a tripod, using the new SB700

Definitely not the prettiest of bugs for sure
And he's actually the width of 3 lines in a newspaper
