It's quite good.. but i wouldn't really want to go beyong ISO 800..
The noise level becomes quite high you crop in even a little

Yea.. just that one pic..
looks fine after exporting, but when i upload it turns that way :p

And trust me, night is always pretty as long as you are on this planet ;)
you just got to look with your creative eye :)

Lucky, wish I was going to Germany. Um, you are a little early for Oktoberfest though. :) With the D3 I think you should do just fine.

Nice Shots White! I still have 20 pages or so to look at but I like what I see so far.

Whitelight I was wondering about that MOONRISE shot also, It is odd, It looks like pixel blocks, but that shouldn't happen unless it was a sizing or resolution issue.

Yea.. the exported JPG looks fine on my mac, but once i upload, something goes nuts :p
Tried a few times with different resoultion pics.. same result.. so just let it be..

D5100 with 18-55mm @ 18mm

This image shows basically how easy i have it..
me chilling with my photo stuff & my wife.. just chilling :D

Don - what's the best way to upload a pano to the forum?
This pic originally is around 14k pixels... i resized it to 3k pixels..
but obviously the uploader resizes further to 1000px...
and the details of the image are not seen

Try resizing it to 300PX on the short size. length will be longer but I think it will work

Not exactly..
As you can see, there seems to be some matting that's over the images...
and the colors are bit off too.. saturation & hue
seems fine on my system.. not sure if am doing something new that's changing the overall image when i upload, or if the forum is re-adjusting..
just happening for a few images..
