Safe trip Pat, watch out for those Mtl drivers. Some are a little impatient and angry.

Nice cemetery shots.

Hey Pat,

I like your third picture! Good comp. and almost the right mood!

May I suggest that you bring down the tonal values to the same level than your second pict?
Once at the right value, you may consider de-blocking a tad the bark of the tree: the details
in there need to be guest but not really seen!

…and please, don't forget to show me!

Have a good day…

Day 193 - July 12th, 2013.... Ok, I am home... now I have 3 days to catch up on!

Here is the first day... Left at 6am to meet another couple up in VT for breakfast, then on up to Quebec and the Vigil at the Monument in Canada...

Fuel stop in Lincoln NH & the Welcome Center in St Johnsbury Vermont (right across from the diner)

Downtown St Jamesbury VT... Entering Quebec....

Arriving in Melochville, at the Monument... CVVQ Canadian Vietnam Veterans of Quebec
The monument itself, a tribute to those from Canada who gave their lived fightiing under the American Flag in Vietnam

The podium, where they conduct the ceremony and where they read all of the names during the Vigil.
Some of the Canadian Vets who organize this each year. (I am Honored each year as they ask me to read some of the names of those who never came home)

Hello Pat,

I took a plane to Europe for 4 months on December 21 1989, and haven't returned
since. Your pictures are of no interest technically speaking (for the moment) , as
I'm close to tears looking at them.

I'm so moved! …I'll come back later.

I intercepted my 2 sons, who were chasing playfully one an other, and got them in
front of the screen. Not a word was spoken: they felt why I needed to show!

Have a good day…

Thank you Kodiak, it was just after you that I left Michigan for New Hampshire. (I know, NOT the same) :)
What part of Quebec are you from?

Very good points Kodiak, I appreciate your thoughts and the comments. I will give it a go when I get some time and see how I can do, especially with the bark.
