My 37th wedding anniversary is this summer too. But I am a little older.
Even though Grafton is a small town, they have the distinct honor of having a church that is on U.S. Register of Historic Sites. The church was built in 1810 and doesn't show any wear. They don't build 'em like they used to.

As I said earlier, Grafton is a small town. While they are blessed enough to have a truly remarkable church, the rest of the town is not that remarkable. I'm sure the residents are wonderful, but Grafton is far from being cosmopolitan.
Beyond a glimpse of the artisan Church from surrounding streets, Grafton would not be mistaken for Soho.

The buildings are simple, but functional. There isn't really any flare for the artistic, and I doubt that any big-name acts perform at the local watering hole.

I was amazed! Who would commission a work such as this? This was a vision of George Segal! In the middle of middle-America, a sculpture scene worthy of a prestigious show sits along a lonely railroad track. Not South Beach. No tourists. No traffic. No art critics. I thought the whole thing was fantastic!
