It is raining here today but on the way over to see my mom in the nursing home I spotted this Great White Egret so I pulled the car over and shot it out of my car window. Nikon D600 and 70-200VR with 20E III 2x extender shot hand held.

Jeff, thanks for sharing your wildlife bird photos. To see such beautiful birds I have to go to the zoo. Sad but true. Thanks to all for sharing your wildlife shootings

I was sitting in my car watching an Eagles nest when I saw this weed growing in a ditch near my car so I took a shot to see how it would come out. Nikon D600and 70-200VR lens with 2X teleconverter. Another one shot out the window of my car, I'm getting lazy.

Funny how things catch your eye when you have a camera. I know I get alot of groans and rolled eyes from my family as I take pics of "boring" things but sometimes makes the nicest photos :)

I didn't have my flash or the lens that I needed but I took these snapshots of my canvas pictures in the credit union that I had a job at recently. The smaller prints are 20x30in. and the larger ones are 24x36in. They will be have a grand opening on the 10th of May and I will take what I need to get some proper pictures at that time. There are a total of 19 canvases that they purchased from me to decorate this branch.

This is one wall of their conference room. On the wall behind me are two more of my pictures.

I made them a book with all the pictures that they purchased and gave it to them. It is the book with the flowers on it sitting on the counter

These are three pictures that are on the wall of the bank manager's office

This is one of two picture they placed in the drive up section. The outlets you see are just above counter.

Great job Jeff!!!

Marilynne, I have been fairly concerned for the last couple of months working on this project of just how having the pictures on canvas would be received. I found out that they were in the new branch so while I was out in the car I decided to drive to Long Beach and see just how they looked. All of my worries went away after I started talking with the different people that had these pictures in their offices. They went out of their way to tell me how much they liked the canvas version and that they especially liked local pictures that they could relate to instead of the generic photos they usually get. I couldn't have been happier when I left to come home. I have my fingers crossed because they will be starting two more branches that will open latter this year. I'm hoping that I might get a chance to do them also.
