I was sitting on the deck watching for some hawks that had been circling.... if it was not for the contrails, I would not have even seen these 2 planes, thats how far away and up they were...

Not the best shots but snapped and cropped so here they are.. If you saw how far away, you would be amazed!! :)

Good shots. Yeah, these kind of shots will never be crystal clear since your lens is at it's limits. if you have a smartphone, there is an app out there that will tell you who and what is flying overhead.

Not only was the lens stretched, the massive crop did not help!! :)

I do have an android phone so I should look for that app.. Thanks!

Nothing recent, but have not shared these yet. Snow is melting and temps are getting warmer. That means it will soon be comfortable plane spotting again :)

I love the smell of kerosene in the morning!! It was a chilly one today (0 to 1 degree celcius, with wind), but i managed to stick it out for an hour. ​
