Looks like I'll get to see some more examples before I jump! On a side note, I tend to crop extreme corners/edges anyway, so I wouldn't over think the extreme corner sharpness.
I did a lot of pondering, thinking about what I did and didn't like about each, and moreso what I wanted and didn't want. Ultimately, the ability to stick a high value ND filter on there and do long daylight exposures without trying to figure out how else to make that happen has me willing to give it a go. Then went to B&H and saw that it was $150 cheaper than Amazon (who is usually right there with them). And then I remembered I had close to $60 in B&H dollars. I just hope they shop mine out first, Ted.
And yes, Marcel, it's your fault. LOL
Mine is on its way and should be delivered on Friday!
Mine will be on the doorstep today. Unfortunately, I won't have time to play with it until the weekend, so I guess we're even.![]()
That's it. I gotta move.
That's what you thing, Marcel.
Never thought to put VR on a wide angle, but I'm shooting tack sharp at 1/4 sec. and 16mm. Nothing but a dark and messy desk with papers and small print I can read - unworthy of sharing but it's worth mentioning. Digging it. Just wish I could get out with it. Alas, I have a memorial service and funeral over the next two days. It'll make for a nice recovery come Friday.

I'd like to hear from you guys how it performs at 28-35mm. It looks great wide!
OK, Ted, I'm giving you until about 1PM ET to get your box, then I'm off work for the afternoon and out with the camera.![]()
