The object of this new thread will be to photograph the same scene almost every Monday morning for a year. I will stand in the same spot, use the same lens, my Nifty 50, with the same aperture setting,f8, and my default ISO of 400. No filters will be used and the photo will be edited, but not cropped. The only camera setting that will probably change is the shutter speed and on low light Mondays I will shoot with the aid of a monoped so that the shutter speed can float.
I have picked this scene because I like the way the morning sun spills over the top of the hill and the scene itself will not change except to reflect the changing seasons and the weather. I will shoot in sunshine or in rain and when the grass is green or "hushed with snow". i am anxious to see where this leads.
