When you get to Georgia, you'll not want the The Weather Channel reporters to show up in your town most of the time. Usually means a hurricane for us in the Florida Panhandle!

Day 3 - Jan 3 2014.....
We made it through the storm... only got about 12 inches of snow... Cold, 1 deg F when I went to work.. high at 11 deg and overnight low to be MINUS 12 F..
Lets see what we have....
The Xmas plants afre in the cafeteria at work....
Inserts that are molded in products..... and where is the snow?? Here it is!! On a residential road ...
These 2 were both taken around Horseshoe Pond.....
These 2 were in my yard when I got home....
Happy shooting my friends...

Day 4 - Jan 4 2014.....
Darn cold this morning... -13 deg F .. I had a plan to take a couple pictures in a serene area with fresh snow but I chose not to venture..
I stayed close to home to get these 2 with my D7100 and 50mm f/1.8

Day 5 - Jan 5 2014.....
Another Milestone... only 360 days left!! maybe I will will make it...
It was warmer this morning (20 deg F) so I planned to go out and get the shot I wanted to do yesterday... Did some Radio (talking to Germany and Belarus), played with Wireless Photo stacking and then headed out when it was nice and sunny... I was out about an hour and had a planned route..
1st I grabbed one at the house, that way no matter what I had one in the can...
The 2nd was one I was planning on but disppointed there was not more drifting....
These 2 were also planned... 2nd being one I thought would be a good location.
These 2 were not planned but right by the previous location....
These 2 were spotted on the way out... ducks on frozen pond is at a farm midway up from my place..
The farm implement was right in my neighborhood.. Both of these, I spotted while driving and knew I could pick up on the way back..
I was pleased .. it was a good hour as far as I was concerned...

It rained all day... a little icey this morning but tomorrow will be brutal with it going down to 10 deg F tonight and tommorrows high only 17..
Here are todays shots....

It finally cleared and we got a little sun today but it was cold... 10 f this morning to a high of 17 f. It is already back down to 10
Here are some photo's... I was not personally pleased today...
Back bay of the plant..... Carbon electrodes for our machining centers...
Two shots back in the tool storage area...
1st one is out to Horseshoe, Ice Shanty.... the next 3 were all at my house with ice.. (these were not as good as I hoped)
