Can anyone identify this telephoto Nikkor?

I was at the air show in Ocean City Maryland this past weekend and there was a guy shooting what looked like a pretty serious lens. I didn't want to bother him but I did get a pretty good shot of what he was using. It looked like a D4/D4S and a pretty fat lens (likely a prime?). I mean, it...

I took my girlfriend out to a soccer game and let her shoot with the D7000/55-200mm combo. She had a blast! Here she is attempting to figure out how the settings work (she hasnt done photography in years)

The settings vary based on clouds and the position of the sun, but I never go slower than 1/500th and smaller than f4 personally. Your results may vary if you have a smaller or...

I was at a wedding that was filmed for a network TV show a few weeks ago. This guy glanced over at me for a second and then went directly back to shooting. I'd love to shoot TV shows. AND the lead shooter tried to be slick but I was able to draw against her in time.

Images taken with your 70-200mm f2.8 / f4 zoom lenses

Here's another one with the nikon 70-200 2.8VR, I had to crop it a little but it gave me a useable image from the 15th row in the upper deck at Yankees Stadium
