I was at the air show in Ocean City Maryland this past weekend and there was a guy shooting what looked like a pretty serious lens. I didn't want to bother him but I did get a pretty good shot of what he was using. It looked like a D4/D4S and a pretty fat lens (likely a prime?). I mean, it really could be a very clean D2x upon close inspection but I doubt it (especially considering his other gear). I did some light research and wasnt able to find anything that really looks like it. He had a RRS monopod mount and a gitzo monopod so I figured he's likely a pro. Does anyone know what lens that is? I'm just curious.
