Although not new to photography as a hobby, my experience is with Pentax equipment and black and white 35mm film!! I am reasonably new to the world of digital.
I have had my D5000 for about two years, at the same time two grandchildren arrived on the scene. I'm afraid this caused me to be a bit lazy and I have only recently started using anything other than the auto setting.
Now everything has settled down a bit I want to get to know digital, and after looking at this site as a guest I have decided to jump aboard and learn, and hopefully post some info that is useful to other members.
I may not be new to photography but I am to forums so if I mess up at first I apologise to all!
