240 dpi

When I open photos in Photoshop and look at their size & resolution, they're only at 240 dpi. I am shooting in RAW therefore at the highest possible resolution/size etc. I'm flabbergasted that I cannot get a 24 mp camera to produce images at 300 dpi, as that's the least amount needed for print purposes. I'm so confused.

Does anyone know if it is possible to get this camera to produce at 300 dpi, and if so tell me what I am doing wrong so I can fix it?

I found the answer. In ACR I had to set it to 300.

Can you tell me where you found this setting? I'm having problems with my dpi being to low also.

What program are you using to import the photos? ACR, that was referred to above, is Adobe Camera Raw.
