Is it just me or has the site been running ungodly slow these past few days?
It's not really slowing down Anthony, it just seems that way. What we are not being told is that the Cern Large Hadron Collider has successfully created a black hole in switzerland. They have been unable to control it, and it is slowly eating up everything. Now as we all learned in our Astro Physics classes back in Elementary School, time appears to slow down as matter approaches the event horizon of the black hole.
We must also concern ourselves of the Rapture/Judgement day as brought to light by the Rev. Harold Camping. According to him, we have until Oct 21, 2011 (Unless he's miscalculated again). Of course, let us not forget Dec. 21, 2012, as predicted by the Myans.
I take it all back.
I'm now doing something I haven't done for years...using Internet Explorer. This site continues to run slow on FF5, and it's now to the point where the browser can't even keep up with my typing speed. Doing administrative duties requires several refreshes and cache clearings to jump-start the processes, as does making a post.
I wish I could point you in the right direction, man...but something is really screwy. I don't have these issues on any other site, not even other vBulletin forums. There's some kind of toxic mix of installed add-ons and/or software that are really bogging down FF5.
