    I can't make myself call them bison. I mean, I grew up in Boulder and went to the University of Colorado. We were the Buffalos and I ran track with a Buffalo on my chest. My dad was a vet, and he and his partner treated buffaloes, bot bison. It's Buffalo Bill, not Bison Bill. No matter what you call them, it doesn't really matter of course.

    I have been watching the babies grow, and they really look like big calves when they are born. They are pretty darn cute. Then as adults they are just a huge mass of muscle. You are right, majestic is the perfect way to describe them.

    Hey, I'd like to see more of your great landscape shots. Hope you can get a few and post them soon. Your shots are always inspiring to me.

    All I know about Buffalo is. 'You can't roller-skate in a buffalo herd."

    That is a nice image. I don't think I have ever seen one.

    i follow steve mattheis on you tube. He is a photographer based in jackson, wy. His "springtime wildlife photography in yellowstone" has some nice video of "red dogs" baby bison plus some other critters.

    That is a great capture Woody! We have some Bison/Buffalo's around here but some how I can't seem to do them justice. But you certainly did!
