I'm going to use this forum to keep up with myself. Oz It seems I shoot sometimes too much... But I like it.

Nice start with all of your images, Marcel.
I wish I had remembered to take some images like this one of the holiday lights. I already made arrangements to take a Sanctuary photo on Sunday right before they take down the decorations. The lights are still up front although they haven't lit them since Christmas. They will turn the string lights on for me.
I know I'm going to regret asking this but would like to know. How did you support your ball? :shame:........:loyal: Was it sitting on the ground on a little stand that comes with some of the balls? Or did you use some other type of support?
Hi Cindy,
I used the plexiglass support that came with the ball and put it on my office window sill. What I did in photoshop was to make a round selection of the interior of the ball, made a new layer with it and used the transform function to rotate it 180 degrees. In your case, maybe you could use a stepladder of something like that to support the ball.
I tried to support it in my hand, but with the low light, I was getting a too slow shutter speed for it to work.
Marcel
Thanks Cindy. I thought it made my eyes searching for a sense of reality. The lines are all leading to more confusion and they just keep wandering inside the image until a sense of balance is achieved.Very unusual! I like it.
It's presently -30° C with the wind factor. So I played it lazy and took my morning shots from the warmth of my kitchen. 2 different cameras and lenses at about an hour interval.

Cold day up here. Now I'm beginning to envy you Southerners...
