Here are my first 2016 pics. D700, Tamron 28-200 with 12mm Kenko extension tube. All were done hand held, notice the shutter speed on #1 and #3...

My neighbor asked me to take pictures of her X-mas decorations. I choose to do so at twilight in order to get more detail and less contrast. 3 shots panorama blended in LR.

I attended a photo exhibit yesterday. A friend of mine who spent 5 years in Senegal had an opening and asked me to cover it. Here are a few shots, all with Df, some with 24-70 and most with 35 Ai f2. Most of his shots were done with a D7000 and he finished his project with a D800.

Like the images! :) What is the instrument in your last two photos? It's hard to tell exactly what it is.

Thanks Cindy, the instrument is an african instrument that I never had seen before. So I'm sorry but I don't know the name... Someone told me but I forgot. Next time I see my friend who did the exhibit, I'll ask him if I remember.

Just me, my grand daughter and my love playing outside before the rain started.

Your granddaughter has a smile that will light up a room. And I love the grassy hair on the snowman! ;)

Nothing much but a quick snapshot of the light hitting the cat this afternoon. I guess I'm just too lazy to get out and freeze myself. Df+Tamron 28-200.

So I did a few different processing of the same view but HDR processed with Photomatix and then treated with PS.

Found this video tutorial this morning about adding snow flakes to an existing shot. Here's the link https://youtu.be/yP7qiZIuTA0

And here is the before and after:

I thought it could be useful for some of you that miss the white stuff. :)
