Ok so it was -14 C today and windy, so everything outside was blowing around, so I wouldn't go out in the yard. And my husband left the broken truck at home today (something having to work!). And I am recovering still from a badly sprained foot, so I wouldn't leave the house. So you almost got this for a daily pic!:( (I was playing with aperture but I didn't like the final photos!)

But then tonight my husband built this fire in the fireplace:

So I played around with my shutter speeds to get a picture I liked. 1/1600 won!

Great fire shot! Good luck with the sprain. They say sometimes it's better to just break it than have a severe sprain.

I have been so inspired by the bird photos on the forum. I was so excited the birds finally found my suet cake! My husband hung it out for me a week ago and this is the first times the birds came.
I am still learning the "holy trinity" of exposure so this is the best I could do today!

This is Bandit and he could not come into the kitchen to see me because he is afraid of laminate floors! The other one is afraid of cameras! Ha ha!
