Our grandson Cam was born in August. We babysat him last night for a few hours. These two are one of the reasons I decided to learn how to use my camera!

The snow gods have decided to bless us once again. I usually to cross country ski and take the dogs for walks in the winter. The last couple of winters I complained about the lack of snow. This year I sprained my ankle in early December and aggravated it again 2 weeks ago. So no skiing! And look at all this snow!!

The snow stopped today but it is overcast. Bandit and I slipped out to the trail for a 20 minute walk:

It was -19 celsius with the wind chill so I snapped this one of the tree trunks with the snow on one side and then headed back to the car!

I was just so happy to get to use my new lens on something other than the birdfeeder from my patio door! :)
