It is excellent...great capture of something very majestic. I always get myself into trouble with this sort of thing but I would almost say that animal is pregnant!
I am very fortunate in that deer live on the farm with us...they bed here eat the grapes, blackberries and persimmons...they raise their young here...etc.etc.etc... I used to have a female Lab who could go stand amongst the deer and they paid her no mind at all, even when the fawns were around..she would also walk underneath the horses and eat grass with them!
This picture is from about two weeks ago...they are in a pattern that is taking the babies by this lone persimmon tree in the middle of the pasture where they eat year after year, just like they always have for many many years.The bucks and others stay in the treeline in the background, which is an old country lane...you can almost set your watch by their movements! I might eat one of them someday if WalMart closes, or the catfish in the pond all die, or if our cows quit having calves! LOL
