Another newbie (OK oldbie)

Hey all,

My name is Rick. I am new to the forum but not to photography and not to Nikon. I found this site through Facebook and decided to check it out. I have been shooting with a D70 for the last 6 years and just upgraded to a D700.

I live in South Jersey, just across the river from Philadelphia. I shoot auto racing at my local dirt track, Bridgeport Speedway, and New Jersey Motorsports Park, where they run everything from carts to superbikes to ARCA and GT cars. They even had a Rallycross event there last year.

I am a yacht service contractor by trade but have loved photography and auto racing my entire life.

Welcome, Rick. I've done a bit of dirt track racing photography with my father, although it's been quite awhile. He's from Upstate NY.
