    This is one I took about 2 years ago. I haven't done much since then in macro. I sold my 85 macro lens for lack of use.

    Very nice Jack! I do not have a macro lens... so just gonna sit and admire the photo's form the crew... I am sure I will enjoy and learn just by watching.. Do not know if I will ever get a macro lens, might be nice someday but ZI would have to justify the price vs use/need. Possibly if I stumple on a used deal..

    Glenn, very nice... I would have liked to see the rest of teh horizontal caterpillar body in focus too, then a fall away.. Just my opinion.. (its better than I could do so feel free to ignore me )

    Hi Rocky - the shooting condition was not the best since it was very windy. Here is the full version of the picture (uncropped). Nearly impossible to do image stacking.

    Got this shot of a VERY full mosquito that was sitting on our clothes dryer...her reflection is in the steel on the dryer...Shot taken with a Nikon d3100 and Tamron 90mm macro lens....
