    A Yellow photo day

    A Yellow photo day
Had some fun in the local park today searching for yellow subjects for the weekly challenge. We are still severely restricted on travel at the moment due to lockdown and covid. Therefore have to make with the best we can in the local vicinity.

I really like those, Peter. I think the lock picture is my favorite, and the ball in the stream looks rather forlorn and tells a sad story, lol. But they're all very nice indeed. Glad you managed to at least get out as far as you did. Well done making the most of it!

Thanks for your comment. One thing about lockdown is that it has me made look more closely at the local area. Prior to covid and lockdown, I used to take a drive to different areas further afield in searh of various landscapes and waterfalls etc, which was my favourite genre in photgraphy. I do still miss that but obviously there is a much bigger picture (excuse the pun) to prevent the spread of this virus. Hopefully one day soon we can all get back to doing the things we enjoy most.

This was my first shoot for the weekly challenge "yellow" but I decided it against it for the lemonade one. I was just not particularly pleased with this one.

Peter, this looks like a Mesquite bloom. I didn't think there were Mesquites in Scotland.
