Glad you started this thread because I don't shoot the range enough to justify the price of nikon and have been seriously looking at this lens.

Thanks. Wish I could take all the credit but the first three were on a photo tour arranged by O'ahu Photo Tours. Great locations help - a lot!!

I had attended a workshop a couple years ago by Ed Heaton who is sponsored by Tamron and saw the amazing results he has with their glass. It made me seriously consider them when I was making my decision. This older video helped too.

You snapped it after composing and determining exposure....full credit in my book! Don't look like tourist photos to me look like desktop photos or contest winners.
