Not sure I understand? Who is offering the rebates? Nothing on Nikonusa website, links take me to Amazon, but also no mention of rebates? And when I follow the link for the 50mm 1.4 it takes me to a 1.8 lens?

This is my first go round with these rebate's but it looks like it's just deducted from the price on the seller's website's.

I don't really see much there. I was hoping for more participation throughout the entire range of lenses. The only one I might be interested in is the 28 mm AF-S.

Is that the only lenses for the rebates, dang was hoping get the 70-200 2.8

The Amazon links in the original post take you to the discounted price... e.g. the Nikon 24-120mm f/4 normally retails for $1296.00 but Amazon currently shows it selling for $996.00; Amazon just doesn't mention it includes the Nikon rebate.

Well, I have to guess Nikon is giving the retailers a promotion and somehow, YOU win.

Unless of course you live in CANADA where Nikon Canada prefers to PAD its OWN pocket first.

Still cheaper to pay shipping from B+H and have it sent to your door (except now, Nikon Canada has forced the retailers in the USA to NOT ship to Canada)...

There is a way around this…. Have B+H ship to a friend or relative in any state other than New York, FREE SHIPPING and NO TAX. Your friend or relative can then ship to you.

Believe it or not, you still SAVE as long as you use USPS and not UPS!

This is STANDARD in Canada…. Manufacturers LOVE to rip us off. Their loss, I just buy from B+H. No sweat.

Just to give you another example….

Tamron 150mm- 600mm from B+H landed at my door… $241 savings. Why on earth would I buy this from a Canadian retailer.

No cheating on declaration, pay all the taxes, shipping etc… $241 saved in my pocket.
