I am honored by your compliment, you are an amazing photographer. I still have a lot to learn. This is actually the top of a bottle of Crisco Vegetable Oil upside down. Then I put my cell phone behind it with the flashlight on, but I did not set my white balance properly. After the first shot I liked the colors so I did not correct the white balance.

Sorry I did not get the chance to reshoot and put for the weekly challenge. I appreciate that you thought it was good enough for the weekly challenge. I just did not want you to think I was ignoring you.

May 2. This is a copper cup from two different angles. I did not realize how reflective this thing was. Finding an angle that my camera was on in the shot was difficult.

May 3. This is my first attempt shooting with a black light. My first thought was to get the white balance set, but I could not seem to get it to registered even on aperture priority. So if anyone has suggestions on how to shoot with a black light I would be happy to hear some suggestions. It was fun to try.

May 6. Both are photos are a ship in a bottle of the USS Constitution. The bottom photo is a different angle of the bottle.

May 9. Took these with my phone. The neighbors down the street needed help cleaning up some branches then the fire marshal came out to do a controlled burn.

May 12. We have had some amazing cloud formations lately. With so much hate out there, I love the words of Tennyson who said, "Yet- if we follow the worse too long. We may cease to believe in the Better." Photography has helped me see the better.
