Me too....I was thinking how lucky those girls were to have such a nice room :D

You did well with the windows ;) We'd have never known :)

Haha, you just rent it - there is also a boys room, bedroom, living room and kitchen.

Oh and if you all rented the apartment together, we could go photographing together every day! :)

Day 83 - catch!

(Look at those eyes on the first one.. do you understand why I often have a hard time saying no to him, lol)

The tiger, not happy about the background (white stripes from a roof.. not possible to get nature as bg :/).

Yeah well, not good enough but still practicing. Next week I got a studio session with my little ballerina girl, for some more image manipulation stuff.

And my youngest dog. Tried playing catch with him too, but no thanks lol. Love the background on this. Its a bush/tree (still no leaves) in our garden.

All excellent shots Mai, I especially like the colour tiger shot...the bokeh in the background is great. I'm like you, I get annoyed with what's in the background and often won't even bother to take a shot of something if there is too much crap in the background (because I don't know how to fix that sort of stuff yet) :D But...it's not glaringly obvious that there is a roof. Would cropping the image to a square solve it for you?

Just a bit weird, they placed buildings/houses all the way around the tigers. Or - there are a few "boxes" too but no tigers/lions there when we visited. Well, I'll have to go back again, as I REALLY want to shoot the polar bears getting fed, you can stand below water and see it. Awesome :)

Mai, That's a great idea, we Nikonites need to get together and have a Mega Photo Shoot. Wouldn't that be fabulous!!!

YES! In DK lol!

A mega Nikonites photo shoot in DK?! But I just started saving for Scotts' new business too. Whew...this is sounding expensive!

Mai I know why you are unhappy with the tiger as it appears to be disguised as a lion  great shots, the bottom one needs fine tuning under its jaw ;) what feather do you use? 5-10%

Mai here is a quick edit of the first one, its rough but what do you think? You can fine tune it more if you wanted.

I think a background like that behind the dog would be far better. I think it's just too much black, too solid, and (I know you said it's a rough edit) but the edges look too soft on this like it's out of focus.
