Day 52 - test of patience, at least until I realized, I wasn't gonna get the image without a third hand helping!
Soab bubble bursting!
- Setup: 105mm, manuel focused on a lamp stand (so I would know where to burst the bubble). You can see the lamp in the bubble, but it was just outside the frame in camera
- Flash in umbrella (right side, but whatever works)
- Camera on tripod
And then the good old 3-2-1-NOW
Would probably be better if I've moved to an area without so much stuff, but hey, didn't wanna go to far away from the new couch...... Also not having the second bubble attached.
So hey, finally something us sad people without minus degrees can do with bubbles, lol. Looking forward to see others take on this (hint @BackdoorHippie).

Sure, you do it with 3 hands and you want me to try with only 2!! LOL
Things never change. It's just like when I was a kid, "Hey this would be cool - you try it!!"
I'm wondering if you could suspend the bubble from the wand just out of view and then release it? Being able to shoot at 9 fps is nice, and probably helps with the execution - I've got 5.5 at best. Maybe one of these days when I'm bored. I still have a bottle of bubbles sitting right across the office from me.

I don't have a trigger for the camera, thats why I needed 3 hands! And continuing shooting doesn't go so well with flash. But when I finally got the setup right, it took no more than 10 images, soooo... :tennis: 1-2-3 worked really good.
You could totally do it without the wand, I was just lifting the bubble further up with it.

I don't have a trigger for the camera, thats why I needed 3 hands! And continuing shooting doesn't go so well with flash. But when I finally got the setup right, it took no more than 10 images, soooo... :tennis: 1-2-3 worked really good.

Just wondering if continuous light would be just as effective. I've got a couple LED lights that I like a lot. It would certainly allow you to spray and pray.

Maybe but you need a very high shutter - I think flash freeze is best but maybe you could do without. I tried with automatic release on camera but didn't get anything.

I really like the first. The third I don't think works, but I did use fill flash, something I almost never do.

Day 55.
First a mobile shot, too funny My dog goes to this water walk (rehabilitation program), today he got massage instead and afterwards this laser treatment (doesn't hurt, just feels warm, its good for blood circulation and healing of damaged areas). Apparently we all had to have glasses on while the vet did this, so... lol:
And then my other dog and their buddy, the border collie <3 He is so cute.

Day 56, just gonna keep it short cause I already been crying most of the day - woke up in the middle of the night, because our dog seemed to have a serious and pretty hard epileptic seizure It was so horrible. Gonna spare you for the details.. Got vet appointment friday, for several tests, you can only rule out everything else, its not possible to test for epilepsy. It sucks so much.
