Gorgeous work. If my frozen river somehow inspired this then it's only because the vision was already in you and just needed drawing out. Absolutely stunning.

Mai, I think you have found yourself! This is another absolutely beautiful shot/image!!

Thaaanks :) I would really love to combine this with the leviating stuff but it is SO hard getting outside in a dress, bare feet, when its wind factor -20c! Okay. Maybe less but you get the point ;)

Righto Mai. We need a step by step tutorial on how exactly you did this!!

Absolutely amazing.

First I drink coffee. Then I go to my inner dark space ;)

No, its just long shutter time and fabric I am waving around. The hard part is my own pose, since I cannot see what I am doing/looking like.

I think this can be done with a quick flash too (to freeze the person) but I don't know how to do that so I am merging the images.

Instead of waving the fabric would a strategically placed fan not do the trick?
Just thinking aloud ….
Anyway I tried it and got the coffee part right.

Maybe?! Not sure a normal one would have enough power, though.
Lol, glad to hear about step 1 is working for you.

Haha Deezey - thank you :)

come summer I have a 4ft deck fan. This is going to be freaking sweet! Now it's my turn to steal an idea!

I was just browsing a discussion on Facebook and came across one guy writing a Picasso quote: What did Picasso say? "Learn the rules like a pro so you can break them like an artist".

That is so true!
