Guess which one is 5 shot HDR (and which do you prefer?):

You are of course right. To easy for you pro's!
Not necessarily. Were the water calm it might have been near impossible - it's a well done HDR. What software are you using, or is it just Photoshop?
Its on-the-go HDR, so no tripod (placed the camera on the ground) and a pretty high iso - therefore, I think, when I tried Nik HDR program, the image looked horrible! Way to bright and soooo much noise. So yes, I used Photoshop -> Automate -> Merge to HDR Pro. The image only needed few adjustments there, contrast and a little overall darkening. No noise reduction done.
Looks exactly like the stuff I bought Mai. Stands, umbrella holders and I even bought one white umbrella. I also got two brolly boxes.
One of the HDR's I get the most complements on was a 9 shot interior of the Princeton University Chapel, and that was done using Photoshop Merge because Nik was blowing up on me at the time. I was almost stupified when I got the results as it was near perfect. Barely had to tweak after that. I've never been able to do that particular image better using HDR Efex Pro 2. But that said, it's the exception to the rule. Every other series I've tried has been better with Nik.
Nice job hand-holding a series like that in low light.
Love that flower shot AND the bottom HDR! Both eye-catching! Those leaves right over the flower that are still crisp and in focus are slightly distracting, but that's just my eye and me being overly picky. Excellent framing of the shot!!
Price were really good, and it actually seems pretty good quality, I'm looking forward to use it properly.
Maybe Nik is better with day images hmm. I'll try tomorrow if I can find something with enough contrast.
I don't recall that building name, could you post your image again?
Ground hold, not by hand![]()
Maybe I missed it, but which umbrella/stand combo did you go with. I am starting to look at these now and there are way to many brands out there.
Not a brand I know of, it was a deal with stand, holder for flash and umbrella together:
Visico affjedret stativ 2,4 m
Visico soft hvid paraply 100 cm
Visico SpeedLite beslag
Its okay heavy but guess you never wanna place an umbrella outside without a sandbag or something, if its windy.
Thanks Mai.. I am thinking I might turn one of my old tripods into the stand mainly because it has a hook on the bottom for weights. I wouldn't use it outside much, but I dont like to limit myself.
Thats a good ideaNo I probably won't use it much outside either. Maybe if I should do some portraits in overcast.
I need a better tripod though, I broke the plate and I think the stand is a little to light for a very heavy camera. Imaging if it tilted ugh.
