Would you feel threatened?

No. I wouldn't.
Been too many places, done too many things to be threatened by a drawing.

LOL! I'm assuming you're military as was I before I retired. What I find funny is your same reason for not feeling threatened is my reason for feeling threatened. Too many places, seen too many things, and having lived in Detroit has taught me not to ignore things when they are this personalized. Don't cower or live in fear but recognize the threat is there.

Relooking what I wrote...
I did not mean to come off as a 'super brave nothing scares me... steely eyed... over-bravado person'.
I did, however, base my response off of experiences in the military and particularly my deployments.

Have been threatened verbally, as well as in writing on multiple occasions. They didn't pan out in any physical activity / attempts. And often confrontation with the originator showed nothing but cowardice on their behalf in trying to garner a reaction.
I am not saying I would not be more cognizant of my surroundings and more 'aware' but I don't necessarily equate that to feeling threatened. Maybe it is my self-internalized defining of 'threat'.

Additionally I am unaware of the story behind your original post and haven't taken the time to look into it I might feel different given different circumstance though.

Guess I'm the opposite. People make too much of simple words or gestures. When kids are being suspended from schools for making a 'finger' gun gestures and people lose their radio/TV jobs over minor mistakes because one person in a room somewhere is 'offended' (and I use that term loosely), we are out of control.

yes, I am generalizing as there are certainly instances where people go overboard, but overall things are way too politically correct and people are over sensitive.

Just my $.02

Honestly, after all I have been through with all of my combat tours, my answer is no, I would not feel threatened. We all had bounties on our heads when we were over there, there were just no "Wanted" posters with our photos on them.

For me the difference is where it's taking place. In the big sandbox you're at a certain level of preparedness in how your equipped for a possible threat. However, in a city like Detroit, Chicago, etc... we're not equipped or at that level of awareness to engage a threat.

In the sandbox - no big deal it's normal normal.
At home - a concern.

There is of course a lot of truth in that, however, my answer remains the same; no I would not feel threatened because I have a CCW and could legally carry my 1911 if I felt it necessary. And I possess the necessary skills and total lack of reservations whatsoever to using deadly force to defend myself if it came down to that.
