I've been working with my new D3100 which I bought without researching enough and didn't realise it was a beginners DSLR
I've now managed to get a mint condition(5500 activations) D200 body so I can use my 18-55mm and 55-300mm lenses. Als for pennies.o lets me utillise all
th earlier Nikkor lenses which you can get on the Bay of E
Also got the MB-D200 grip and spare batteries.
Well, this is an entirely different beast to the D3100. I just wish I'd got one to start with.
It's a terrific piece of kit and feels like it's gonna outlive me.
I've been nightshift this week so I've been taking it with me and playing with it while reading the manual(a first for me)
I've learned most of the basic functions in a couple of readings but still have along way to go but I'm loving it already
Oh, by the way, it only cost me £249 with 5500 activations, in original box with all manuals,etc....A bargain
I used a Jessops AFD360 flash with the D3100 but I'm now looking at an i-TTL flash like the Metz or Nissin ones
