Invalid attachments and deleted posts are going crazy on me! Sorry for a couple of duplicates. I've edited and re-edited until I am just leaving it as it is.

its a pain woody, i thought i was the only one getting it, are you only getting it in your thread, all others are good, correct?

I've run into that once in a while, too, although I don't remember if it was just my own thread or some of the Post Your _______ threads. Even when I tried to fix it by using the Insert Inline option under Manage Attachments, it doesn't always work. You guys are not alone.

I haven't had the problem on other threads, but I haven't posted nearly as much on other posts, either.

Cindy, where do I find that option. That's a new one on me. Thanks for your suggestion.

Go in and edit your post. Put your cursor where you want to add the image. Below the box where you enter text is the option to Manage Attachments. After you click it, you should see ALL your photos you have ever uploaded directly to Nikonites like in my example below.

This is from one of my posts with 7 images. Find the image that is giving you problems. If it is not already at the bottom where Attachments are listed, find it in the field of images where Home is listed. Then drag it to the bottom and add it with the rest of your images that are already in your post.

In my example, let's say the last image on the right (_DSC8637) is the problem image and has already been dragged to the bottom.

1. Click the box next to that image.
2. Next click the Insert Inline option.
3. Click Done.

Then preview your changes and see if the image is now inserted inline with the rest. If so, then save your changes and submit it to the forum.

Cool. Thanks!

You're welcome. Forgot to mention if you still get stuck, go into the Manage Attachments section and simply delete the image. Instead of the box at the bottom right corner to click and insert the image inline, hover over the image. The top right corner is where you will see the option to delete it. Then you can go back to your post and upload it again.

Crazy numbers of GBH in a local pond recently. We hope they are going to start a rookery somewhere nearby.

We were in Carlsbad, CA for a few days, and I bagged a couple of new birds. Here's a not so great shot of a California Thrasher.
