One of the three GBH siblings is the outcast, he sits on a branch near the nest and the bully sibling threatens him with the sharp beak. The outcast is just as big as the others, so he's getting enough food, and he looks healthy. I think he'll come out okay, and maybe stronger due to the circumstance.

The "babies" get pretty rough with the parent at feeding time.

Yep. Everyone called them Crawdads when I was growing up, later I found out that crawfish or crayfish was used in other parts of the U.S.

I didn't even notice you had written a caption. I just noticed the crawdad. My parents used to call them 'crawdads' as well as 'crawfish.' but we used to go "crawfishing", never "crawdad fishing."
