Really nice Woody! Love the owls, but really like all of this thread. Looks like the 100-400 is working well. Am I remembering that to be the Tamron? If so, how do you like it.

Thanks, Dan. I appreciate your kind words.

The Tamron 100-400 is a nice little lens. It's not as sharp as my 300mm f/4 Nikkor, even with a teleconverter. It doesn't have the reach of the Tamron 150-600. But, it's light, the stabilization is really good, the AF is fast, it is consrtucted quite well for the price, and the price is super reasonable.

As you can see, I've been spending most of my time at owl nests lately. This picture was from about a week ago. This little one is clearly determined, but it would be another three days before the first flight. I'll continue to post as I get pics processed and decide I'm happy with them. Hundreds upon hundreds to go through. (i.e. I'm in heaven.)
