I had to search Google to see if Prairie Chickens are related to Grouse. And the answer is ... yes. No wonder they look similar. lol I never heard of Prairie Chickens.

One Snowy Egret was trying to rule the pond this morning, chasing others away. The one on the upper left with feathers raised is looking big and mean while pursuing the other. Over and over the birds that were chased away would sneak back and hunt for fish on the opposite side of the island from the dominant bird. Really fun to watch.
