Another Great Blue Heron landed in this bird's territory, and they both made themselves look big and tough. After a minute they turned away from each other and started looking for fish. Peace was restored.
Every once in a while a heron will catch two fish at a time. This Great Blue Heron did that, then dropped one, but grabbed it again and managed to swallow them both. The fish are small, so you may want to view large.
