Love your Osprey photos! My osprey apparently doesn't visit my little lake very often, I've only seen him once. I was very lucky the day I was able to catch him.

Love your Osprey photos! My osprey apparently doesn't visit my little lake very often, I've only seen him once. I was very lucky the day I was able to catch him.

We are lucky to have both several nesting Ospry, plus many younger ones that migrate through the area looking for food. There is one state park in particular that they frequent this time of year.

Prey transfer from Dad to Mom. Interestingly, she didn't give it to the kids right away.

Mom flew in to visit two of her youngsters who are starting to venture a little out of the nest. She stayed only briefly, then took off. The babies will very soon be flying young adults.
