Two Bald Eagles sharing a tree with about a zillion Red-winged Blackbirds

I don't think I would want to sit in a tree with something that might eat me for a snack, yikes! Also, it always amazes me how many Red Wing Black birds you get out there that flock together like the starlings do here. Our RWB mostly migrate out but we always have a few that hang around. I guess they didn't get the message that all their buddies go partying out there with you, lol.

We have quite a few that hang around. It's fun to see when the do their murmurations.

Our starlings do murmurations and it is fascinating how they can all move together. I just don't like the histoplasmosis that comes along with them. They got so bad a few years back the county rented sound canons to scare them off. It didn't work very well once the birds got use to the noise.
